This website has been in the works for some time, and I’m delighted to see this shiny new tool get released.
Now, seniors in Edmonton area, will have a current and updated website to help them detect frauds and scams.
This easy to use website was created in partnership with YEG Senior Alliance, ESC, WESAC, and ICANAS; the Edmonton Police Service and DynaLife.
The website features modules where you can learn about many different types of scams – and how to spot them. There is resources for reporting a scam an dyou can even join a newsletter to be kept up to date on new scams that are circulating.

It’s great to see when new resources come available that better support older adults to remain safe in the community and online.
