Grieving an Ambiguous Loss

March 11 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Free

Dementia is a disease marked by ambiguous loss. On one hand your loved one is still alive; on the other hand, the loved one you knew is gone. In this information session, you will learn how to identify, cope with, and grieve ambiguous losses over the course of dementia. You will also learn the role ambiguous loss, and other losses, have in caregiver burnout. Strategies to avoid (and reduce) burnout will be explored.
