There is a new farmers market in Edmonton – Bountiful! I had an opportunity to check it out on the opening weekend and was really impressed with not only the hours by the diversity of vendors there.
This indoor market is open 9am-5pm every Friday, Saturday and Sunday all year.
Parking now can be a little tricky – if you have mobility issues then you may want to get dropped off at the doors. Parking lot is not an even surface. Extra parking on weekends is available at Worsley. Otherwise street parking can have you walking a couple blocks away depending on volume at the farmers market.
Bountiful farmers market does have a full accessibility ramp and wide aisles. Those with walkers and wheelchairs will be able to manage in this lovely indoor farmers market.
There is such a large variety of vendors at this market – jewelers, bakers, liquor distilleries, craftsman, greenhouses, produce farms, butchers and so much more. The stage features different entertainment. There is some limited seating in the stage area for those who need a break.
